Gather with us ...
Our
Service of Worship begins at 10:30
a.m. It is a traditional service, composed of four
segments: (1) The Church Gathers to Celebrate; (2) The
Church Proclaims God's Word; (3) The Church Responds to God's
Word; and (4) The Church Goes Out to Love and Serve.
We use the New International Version translation of the
Bible. Each Sunday lay readers read the scripture that
establishes the biblical foundation for Pastor Beck's
sermon. In addition to worshipping our Lord and Savior
through the reading of His Word, we use both The Hymnbook and the
Presbyterian Hymnal to sing hymns of thanksgiving and praise to
God.
We celebrate the Sacrament of The Lord's Supper six times
throughout the year: the First Sunday of the New Year,
Maundy Thursday, Pentecost, World Communion Sunday, the First
Sunday in Advent, and once during the summer months.
Nursery care for
infants through kindergarten age children is available during our
time of worship. In addition, worship kits are provided for
older children. Kits contain activities that foster a
greater knowledge of Jesus and can be completed as they begin to
participate in worship. |

| We seek to accommodate those with
disabilities. We want you to be able to participate in all
aspects of our church life. Please contact
us if the following do not fully address your concerns. |

Designated parking is available along the church's
upper driveway. These spaces are closest to the south
vestibule. However, the south vestibule is not handicapped
accessible. One must enter the church building through the
west vestibule, more commonly known as the "main
vestibule." This enters into the sanctuary.
Unfortunately, at this time, this is the only entry that
accommodates wheelchairs. |

At this time, the west vestibule, more commonly
known as the "main vestibule," is the only entry that
accommodates wheelchairs. This enters into the
sanctuary. As you enter the sanctuary, approximately midway
on the left, you will find an area that accommodates wheelchairs and
walkers. |

Telex Listening Systems are available for your
use. This system allows complete freedom of movement and is
simple to operate. The system consists of a base station
transmitter (located in our sound cabinet) and thirteen personal
receivers (available in the rear of the sanctuary). Please
feel free to use this system. The directions are on the box.
An assistive listening device (ALD) allows people who are hearing
impaired to participate more fully in activities at which there
are large gatherings. The device does this by increasing the
volume of a desired sound, such as the voice of the pastor and lay
leaders and choral music. This is done without increasing
the loudness of background noises. |
