Welcome

The cornerstone of Big Spring Presbyterian Church is our Lord Jesus Christ.  In Him we are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by His Spirit.

Big Spring is a friendly fellowship of Christians seeking to honor, love, and serve the triune God.  Opportunities for traditional and creative worship, spiritual nurture, and evangelistic and social outreach are offered to enable us to fulfill the Great Commission - making and incorporating disciples of Jesus Christ.

Our church has a rich heritage.  The original log meeting house, erected in 1737, stood adjacent to the winding Big Spring.  The present graystone structure was constructed in 1789.  Over the years a variety of modifications and additions have been made to enhance the beauty and usefulness of the building.  These include the colorful stained glass windows and the mural painting entitled, "Vision of Our Lord Enthroned."
